Valentine’s Day may have already come and gone, but every day should be a day to celebrate self-love!
Self-love is defined by Google as “regard for one’s own well-being and happiness.” In a world where we feel so compelled to do for others, I think we often forget to make our own well-being and happiness a priority. I’ve put together a list of 10 simple things you can do to put yourself back at the top of your list. Here’s to loving yourself enough to put your own health and happiness first!
I have to tell ya, #1 has been a HUGE help for me lately. Every morning before work, I spend about ten minutes of uninterrupted and unplugged journal time to kickstart my day with a positive and appreciative mindset. I make two lists…one of things I am grateful for, and one of my daily goals. I cannot tell you how much this has improved my perspective, and it stays with me all day long! If you don’t journal already, I highly recommend it.
