This recipe is my favorite go-to late night snack. It satisfies my sweet tooth every time, and there are so many different ways to mix it up! If you’ve never had apple nachos, you have got to give them a try! Seriously, so delicious.

I use 1 medium sized red apple [preferable red delicious], but you can use any kind of apple! Cut the apple into thin slices and spread them out on a plate.

Here’s where you can mix it up and get creative! My favorite toppings are cinnamon, granola [Bear Naked Live Fit], and almond butter [Mara Natha Raw Maple – hands down, the best]. I have also used crushed walnuts, craisins, unsweetened coconut flakes, chia seeds, vanilla greek yogurt, and/or peanut butter to add some variety. It usually just depends on what I’m craving at the time!

For reference, I only used half of the Jif PB to-go container. Microwave to drizzle easily!

PRO-TIP: Microwave the apple slices before adding the toppings if you want it to taste like apple cobbler. YUM.

Try it out next time you catch yourself heading for brownies before bed [although, there is nothing wrong with that every now and then]. I can’t wait to hear what you think of these!
